LIV golfers aren't forgetting their new league as they play at the Masters Tournament this week.

In fact, several of the 18 members of the Saudi-backed LIV Golf League competing in the Masters showed up at August National Golf Club on Monday wearing the apparel from their LIV teams.

While The Telegraph reported the LIV players agreed not to wear the league's Roman numeral logo "out of respect to the tournament," that didn't stop some from displaying the insignias of their individual teams that compete within the circuit's tournaments on their shirts and hats during Monday's practice round.

Sports Illustrated said Dustin Johnson, Sergio Garcia, Bryson DeChambeau and Talor Gooch were among those showing off their team logos on the course.

Johnson, wearing his polo shirt with the 4Aces GC team logo, said he planned to wear his Aces gear throughout.

A first test of how the LIV golfers will get along will come Tuesday night at the Champions Dinner, when defending champion Scottie Scheffler will host the annual event. Six former Masters champs turned LIV players -- Johnson, Garcia, Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, Patrick Reed and Charl Schwartzel -- will come face-to-face with some of LIV's most outspoken critics, including Tiger Woods.

Scheffler and Johnson both said they don't anticipate any fireworks between the sides, per The New York Times.

"With Augusta National being such a special place and with the history of the game and whatnot," Scheffler said, "I think we can put all our stuff aside and just get together for a fun meal, all in a room together and just kind of celebrate the game of golf and Augusta National and just hang out."

Johnson, the 2020 Masters champion, agreed.

"I heard what was said about possible tension at the dinner, but there will not be any tension from me." he said. "Besides, I still have a great relationship with all my fellow Masters champions."
