Mexico's Abraham Ancer defeated Cameron Young by two strokes on Sunday to complete a wire-to-wire victory at the Saudi International in King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia.

Ancer, 31, carded a two-under-par 68 on Sunday at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club to finish at 19-under 261 at the Asian Tour's season-opening event.

Ancer, who competes on the LIV Golf circuit, earned $1 million for his fourth career title, which have come on four different tours (also PGA Tour, PGA Tour of Australasia and Web.com).

"That was a lot of fun and the first time I've been able to win wire-to-wire," Ancer said. "I played good every single day. I kept telling myself I was in 20th place and didn't really look at the leaderboard much. I felt pretty much in control of my game."

Ancer managed to hold off Young, the reigning PGA Tour Rookie of the Year who also shot 68 Sunday and finished at 17 under. Australia's Lucas Herbert (65 Sunday) finished in solo third place at 15 under.
