Tiger Woods' first-round tee time, grouping set for Thursday at Masters

Somehow it now seems like a foregone conclusion that legendary golf icon Tiger Woods will compete in the 2022 Masters. It is also now known — assuming the five-time wearer of the green jacket plays — when he'll tee off in the first round on Thursday and second round on Friday, along whom he'll be in a group with.

Woods is just over one year removed from his serious car accident that nearly caused him to lose a leg. After his 2008 U.S. Open victory, Woods went 11 years without a major victory before he stunningly captured the 2019 Masters title.

The 46-year-old is tied with Sam Snead for the most PGA Tour victories of all time with 82 and is second in majors with 15. Woods finished 38th in the COVID-19 pandemic-delayed 2020 Masters.

Niemann has two career PGA Tour wins, including the 2022 Genesis Invitational in February. Oosthuizen has just one PGA Tour victory, but it came at the 2010 Open Championship, where he defeated runner-up Lee Westwood by seven strokes.
