Golf fans got some bad news ahead of one of the biggest tournaments of the year on the PGA Tour. Tiger Woods is not in the field for The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. He failed to commit to the event by Friday night’s 5 PM EST deadline. It’s certainly not surprising to see Woods take time off after he withdrew from The Genesis Open a few weeks ago (back spasms, flu, dehydration).
