If there is anything we know about Tiger Woods, it's that he loves press conferences. All jokes aside, the notoriously private golf icon has been forced out of his comfort zone this week thanks to the Genesis Invitational, PGA Tour drama, and the launch of his new brand - Sun Day Red.

Earlier this week, Woods teamed up with TaylorMade to officially unveil his new footwear and apparel brand. In addition to showing off sharp new looks, Woods introduced his new signature logo—15 lines for Woods' 15 tour championships shaped into a Tiger design.

During his media availability on Wednesday night, reporters asked Woods what would happen to his signature "TW" logo from his time with Nike and if he had any interest in getting it back from his old brand.

Woods told reporters, "No, we don’t; I don’t want it back. I’ve moved on. This is a transition in my life. I moved on to Sun Day Red, and we’re looking forward to building a brand that elicits excitement and is transformative."

This week's Genesis Invitational will serve as the first time Woods has competed in apparel other than Nike since 1996. Sun Day Red will launch its first line of apparel for men on May 1, 2024, and will be made available online in the United States and Canada.

In the meantime, Woods' signature Nike apparel and footwear are still available online. Athletes and fans interested in purchasing the gear before it is gone forever can do so while supplies last on the Nike website.

Woods and TaylorMade enjoyed a stellar unveiling of Sun Day Red this week, and the brand will only garner more attention leading up to its official launch this spring. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com for all your industry news from the sportswear world.
