The PGA Tour continues this weekend with the 2025 Truist Championship, formerly known as the Wells Fargo Championship. It’s the final stop before the PGA Championship. The venue has been moved to Phildaelphia Cricket Club, the oldest country club in the United States.

Despite being a signature event, the world’s best golfer, Scottie Scheffler will be sitting out after winning last weekend in Texas. All eyes will be on Rory McIlroy who will make his first traditional start since winning the Masters. McIlroy is the overwhelming favorite at +550 odds. Meanwhile, the loaded field also includes Collin Morikawa (+1200), Ludvig Aberg (+1800), Justin Thomas (+2000), Xander Schauffele (+2000), and Patrick Cantlay (+2000), rounding out the top five.

The Truist Championship arrives just one week before the PGA Championship, and while world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is sitting this one out after winning the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, the field remains stacked with top-tier talent.

Rory McIlroy, fresh off his Masters win, leads the odds at +550 and looks to keep momentum heading into another major. Collin Morikawa (+1200) and Ludvig Åberg (+1800) are close behind, both in strong form.

Justin Thomas, Xander Schauffele, and Patrick Cantlay all sit at +2000, making this anyone’s event to win. Usually held at Quail Hollow, the championship moves to the Philadelphia Cricket Club this year due to the PGA Championship’s venue conflict.

Truist Championship 2025 Predictions

Here are our Truist Championship 2025 predictions and the best bets to win the tournament.

  • Collin Morikawa (+1200)
  • Xander Schauffele (+2000)
  • Corey Conners (+4000)

Collin Morikawa (+1200)

Collin Morikawa enters the Truist Championship as one of the favorites, thanks to his elite iron play and pinpoint accuracy, perfect for the 7,119-yard Wissahickon Course at Philadelphia Cricket Club. Ranked No. 4 in the world, Morikawa has already shown strong form this season with a runner-up finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Now paired with caddie Joe Greiner, fresh off a win at the RBC Heritage with Justin Thomas, Morikawa’s poised for a breakthrough.

Xander Schauffele (+2000)

Xander Schauffele is another strong pick to contend at the Truist Championship, especially with the Wissahickon Course’s US Open-style setup. In this kind of environment, he’s thrived, posting seven top-10s in the last eight U.S. Opens. Now healthy after early-season rib issues, Schauffele’s form is trending upward. His combination of length off the tee and sharp approach play makes him a serious threat this weekend.

Corey Conners (+4000)

Another top contender this weekend listed at +4000 odds, Corey Conners has had a very solid season. He opened the majors with a T-8 finish at the Masters—his fourth top-eight there in five starts—and has been consistently scoring under par since a strong third-place showing at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. At +4000, Conners offers serious value as a steady, in-form threat.

Truist Championship 2025 Best Bets

  • Ludvig Aberg (+100) vs. Patrick Cantlay
  • Hideki Matsuyama Top 10 Finish (+250)
  • Min Woo Lee Top 20 Finish (+165)
