Watch: Club pro caps magical weekend at PGA Championship with hole-in-one

Michael Block, a 46-year-old club pro who teaches golf lessons at a public golf course during the week, stole the show at this weekend's PGA championship by making the cut and spending the fourth round paired up with Rory McIlroy.

All of that set the stage for an unforgettable moment on Sunday evening, when Block nailed a hole-in-one on the 15th hole, dunking it straight in from 151 yards out.

Have a look.

That is an unforgettable shot and moment not only for Block, but everybody that watched this weekend's event. He entered Sunday's fourth round in eighth place and had positioned himself for a life-changing weekend financially.

No PGA professional has ever finished in the top-10 of the Championship and it has been nearly 20 years (2005) since one even finished in the top-40 of the event.

Block charges $145 for 45 minute golf lessons at his local California golf course. If he finished in 30th place this weekend he would take home over $114,000 in prize money.

Prior to this weekend, Block had appeared in 24 PGA tour events, making the cut in only four of them. This has been by far his best showing and for one weekend, he became one of the biggest stories in professional golf.
