Which clothing brand will Tiger Woods partner with next?

Sundays during golf season have been punctuated for over two decades by Tiger Woods sporting his red-polo-black-slacks Nike ensemble. So, suffice it to say, it's the end of a major fashion era now that Woods has announced he and the Swoosh will be  parting ways after 27 years

The 47-year-old gold icon hinted in a statement on social media on Monday that he will be competing at the Genesis Invitational, which will mark the first time he will play since his deal with Nike has ended. So the question stands: Which brand will Woods be wearing at Riviera Golf Club next month?

CBS Sports has already pointed to a few possibilities, including expanding partnerships with brands he already uses. One idea is that the 15-time major winner will extend his partnership with TaylorMade to include apparel as well as equipment. (Woods started using Taylor Made clubs in 2017.)  Since Woods has been wearing FootJoy over Nike shoes since 2021, CBS also points out that he might decide to broaden his endorsement to include FJ clothing.

Some have speculated that Woods would team up with Greyson, since budding pro Justin Thomas and Woods' son, Charlie, are affiliated with the brand.

There is also the suggestion that Woods is branding out on his own.

"If he desired, Woods could start his own apparel company from the ground up and have more equity and control than he would elsewhere," CBS suggests. "There would be no shortage of investors seeking to work alongside Woods, nor would there be difficulty in finding production given his deep ties."

We'll just have to wait and see which direction Woods' wardrobe goes in when we see him at the Genesis Invitational, which tees off on Thursday, Feb. 15.
