Watch: Former U.S. Open champion Gary Woodland's tee shot lands in cup holder at Sanderson Farms Championship

During the FedEx St. Jude Championship in August, Max Homa struck a tee shot in the event's opening round that landed in somebody's golf cart . On Thursday during the opening round of the Sanderson Farms Championship, Gary Woodland may have one-upped Homa in the one-in-a-million tee shot department.

Woodland finished the day with an even-72 and will look to move up the leaderboard when play continues on Friday. The event runs through Sunday.

The 38-year-old Woodland has captured four PGA Tour victories since joining in 2009, including his lone major victory at the 2019 U.S. Open.
