20 summer smoothie recipes

Ah, summertime: the perfect time for smoothies. Fresh fruits and veggies are in season and widely available, hot weather makes us crave cold drinks, and hydration becomes more important than ever. When it’s warm, we make smoothies every day, which means there’s plenty of opportunities to experiment with different ingredients and combinations. To give you some refreshing inspiration, here are 20 summer smoothie recipes.

They’re loaded with fiber, one cup contains half your recommended daily dose of vitamin C, and they’re a perfect addition to any smoothie. In fact, they can be the centerpiece, like in this “green” version from Kitchen Confidante that also includes banana, pineapple, and kale.
