Former Texas Rangers third baseman Adrián Beltré will participate in the MLB Futures Game on July 8 in Seattle as part of the coaching staff.

Major League Baseball announced the coaching staffs for the two teams on Friday, and both staffs are filled with former Mariners players, as Seattle is hosting both the Futures game and the All-Star Game.

Beltré will serve as the bench coach for the National League team which will be managed by Raul Ibañez.

Two other former Rangers are part of the American League staff, managed by Harold Reynolds. Jamie Moyer will be the pitching coach and Dave Valle will serve as the bench coach.

Beltré is already in the Rangers Hall of Fame and has his No. 29 retired. He will be on the Baseball Hall of Fame ballot next January.

He hit .286 for his career, with 3,166 hits and 477 home runs. He had 1,707 RBI over a 20-year career that included stints with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Seattle Mariners, the Boston Red Sox, and the Rangers. He played the final eight years of his career in Arlington.

He was a four-time All-Star selection, won five Gold Gloves — three of which were with the Rangers — and four Silver Slugger Awards, including two with the Rangers.

He led the National League in home runs in 2004.

Beltré played five seasons for Seattle from 2005-09. With the Mariners, he batted .266 with 103 home runs and 396 RBI. He won Gold Gloves in 2007 and 2008.
