This fall at the Stifel Theatre in downtown St. Louis, the Musial Awards show will be held.

Named after St. Louis Cardinals legend Stan Musial, the Musial Awards are considered among the most prestigious in sports, and they celebrate each year’s greatest moments of sportsmanship and those in sports who present themselves with class and character.

Outgoing Cardinals legend Albert Pujols will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for Sportsmanship.

This award is considered the pinnacle of all Musial Awards and recognizes athletes for those who embody dignity, integrity, and generosity.

Pujols will receive the award on November 19 when the Musial Awards are given.

Pujols To Receive Special Honor

This is a great honor for Pujols.

Pujols has obviously had a huge impact on the St. Louis community.

He and his wife founded the Pujols Family Foundation which seeks to offer help and resources to children suffering with Down Syndrome.

He has also helped improve the lives of countless people across the world, including in the Dominican Republic, where he was born and raised.

This year, Cardinals fans got to witness the farewell tour of the century when Pujols got hot in the second half and ultimately reached 700 home runs.

He also won two World Series titles alongside Adam Wainwright and Yadier Molina, won three National League MVP Awards, and has been an All-Star 12 times, 11 of which were during his time in St. Louis.

While Pujols’ playing career may be over, his impact on the City of St. Louis will be felt forever.

Pujols has been more than just one of the greatest players to ever wear the Birds on the Bat.

He’s also put forth humanitarian efforts for people in the city and around the world.
