Best MLB strikeout bets: 3 strikeout props for Tuesday 6/13

We've got a full slate of baseball on deck for Tuesday night, as all 30 teams around the MLB will be in action. There are plenty of ways to attack this slate from a betting perspective, but let's start with my three favorite strikeout props for Tuesday night.

Spencer Strider over 9.5 Ks

Spencer Strider is the No. 1 strikeout artist in the majors this year with 121 Ks in 13 starts. He's gone beyond six innings only once in his last eight appearances, but that might not matter against a Detroit Tigers lineup that's recorded the second-most strikeouts per game (10.3) over the last 15 days. The +116 price is also a bonus.

Corbin Burnes over 6.5 Ks

Corbin Burnes isn't the same strikeout machine he was the last two seasons. In 2021, his Cy Young year, Burnes finished with the fifth-most Ks in the MLB (234). He was second in 2022 with 243. This season, he ranks 35th in strikeouts with 75. The righty may be starting to find a groove, though, as he's gone over 6.5 Ks in three straight starts and five of his last six. Now he gets to face a Minnesota Twins lineup that's recorded the most strikeouts per game (10.8) over the last 15 days.

Hunter Brown under 5.5 Ks

You don't normally think of the Washington Nationals as a solid hitting team, but this lineup simply isn't striking out right now. Over the last 15 days, the Nats have the fewest strikeouts in the MLB with 59. No other team has fewer than 82 in that span. Hunter Brown has cleared this number in four of his last five starts, but this is a poor matchup for him.
