Cimber, who made two rehab appearances before being activated, has struggled to a 4.50 ERA and 7.49 FIP across 10.0 innings in 11 outings this season. The 32-year-old has also posted a career-worst 37.5 per cent ground ball rate and 25.0 per cent home-run-to-fly-ball ratio.

Clement signed a minor-league deal with the Blue Jays during spring training, and has performed well at triple-A Buffalo in 2023, hitting .328/.408/.512 with five home runs, 25 RBIs and a 136 wRC+ over 35 games. He has spent time at first, second and third base as well as shortstop and left field.

The 27-year-old versatile defender possesses 110 career contests of MLB experience, 104 with the Cleveland Guardians and six with the Oakland Athletics, posting a .204/.261/.264 slash line and 49 wRC+.

Cimber and Clement will be active for Tuesday’s game at Tropicana Field.

Hatch made two relief appearances with Toronto, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out three batters in 1.1 innings. Lopez, meanwhile, was called up after Santiago Espinal (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day IL earlier this week but didn’t enter any games.

White, who has yet to appear in the majors this season, had his rehab assignment paused last week after right shoulder fatigue flared up in his most recent outing with Buffalo. The 28-year-old threw a side session at the Rogers Centre on Sunday and is expected to throw again on Wednesday to determine his next steps.

Once White’s rehab assignment resumes, the right-hander will receive a fresh 30-day clock before the team must decide on his status.
