The 2023 Team USA World Baseball Classic roster just grew a little bit stronger.

Kansas City Royals right-hander Brady Singer announced today that he will be participating in the legendary event next March.

Team USA won the title in 2017, when the Classic was last played.

After the pandemic put the Classic on hold in 2021, the event will be returning in the spring of 2023.

Singer and Colorado Rockies left-hander Kyle Freeland give Team USA a full starting rotation.

Adam Wainwright, Nestor Cortes, and Merrill Kelly had already committed to the roster.

MLB tweeted a cool graphic featuring Singer and Team USA’s slogan, “All In.”

Brady Singer Joins Team USA

The Americans will be led by former MLB star Mark DeRosa.

Singer joins his Royals teammate in third baseman Bobby Witt Jr. on the roster.

The list of other stars who have committed includes Paul Goldschmidt, Cedric Mullins, Nolan Arenado, Mike Trout, Tim Anderson, Trea Turner, Bryce Harper, Pete Alonso, Trevor Story, J.T. Realmuto, Will Smith, Mookie Betts, and Kyle Tucker.

Other pitchers on the roster include Dillon Tate, Devin Williams, and David Bednar.

The 26-year-old won 10 games and posted a 3.23 ERA in 27 starts and 153.1 innings of work.

He was a first-round draft pick by the Royals in 2018.

For his career, the right-hander owns a 4.01 ERA.

Team USA now has a total of eight pitchers, with a few bullpen spots available.

The starting rotation is now full with the additions of Singer and Freeland.

The Americans will soon look to defend their title from 2017.
