Earlier in the season, the Braves tested out a booth of Tom Glavine, John Smoltz, Chipper Jones, and Jeff Francoeur.

The results couldn’t have been better. Not only did the foursome provide tons of unique insight and incredible stories, but they also delivered perhaps the most exciting win of the season. Ozzie Albies walked off the New York Mets with a three-run homer in the 10th inning, leading to this unforgettable call.

It was an awesome night from start to finish, and the group will return to the booth this month on August 23rd.

Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come. Not only does it give Brandon Gaudin a much-needed night off, but it also provides Braves Country with a bit of nostalgia. August 23rd will be must-watch television for long-time Braves fans.
