USA TODAY Sports

As a lot of you know, MLB Network recently released a list of the Top 10 second basemen in the major leagues right now and somehow, Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies did not make the list. Instead, a player who is not even an actual second baseman was ranked as the No. 1 second baseman in the MLB. Los Angeles Dodgers right fielder, Mookie Betts, was tabbed as the No. 1 second baseman in the league.

As you would expect, Braves Country took a look at this list and questioned if the MLB Network forgot that Ozzie Albies existed at all. It seems that Braves Country was not the only demographic that was upset with Ozzie being left off of the list. Ozzie's fellow teammates took to X to go to bat for their second baseman.

"Everybody's gonna be entitled to their own opinion, but I think if you watch the game and you watch Ozzie play the game...not being a top 10 baseballer or second baseman in baseball is outrageous. But if you watch the way he plays, the kind of talent he is, and how he plays every day...you know he is absolutely in that top 10 and you know I wouldn't rather play with anyone else next to me." - Matt Olson

"He is 100% if not the top three second basemen in baseball. I mean, what he does, he can literally do it all. Hit home runs, speed, field, and for him not to be on that list...I mean, I don't know who is writing that list but they need to be talked to because how do you forget about Ozzie?" - AJ Minter

"I mean...that's a crime. What'd he have? 30 and 100 last year as a second baseman? That doesn't happen. Ozzie Albies might be the best second baseman in the league. He's up there. I'd put him at one." - Sean Murphy

"It's okay. I think it's just that we have so many stars on the field that it would just be a Braves list if we were actually honest. I think that's why he got the short end of the stick, I guess." - Tyler Matzek

You know, we haven't seen Tyler Matzek pitch since the Braves won a World Title, but he can cut a promo better than most wrestlers in WWE.
