The Braves announced on Friday that the club recalled Eli White to Atlanta and placed Michael Harris II on the 10-day injured list with a lower back strain.

It seems to be precautionary, but the blows continue to land. Harris now joins a bevy of other players on the IL. Max Fried, Raisel Iglesias, Kyle Wright, and Colin McHugh are all currently dealing with minor injuries.

Despite the number of key contributors out, the Braves continue to look like the best team in baseball. It’s a testament to the work Alex Anthopoulos has done bolstering the depth of the roster. There are a dozen guys waiting in the wings of Gwinnett for their chance to contribute at the major league level. Thankfully, most of these aren’t concerning at all, and we should see them start to return over the next week or so.
