The Milwaukee Brewers called up top infield prospect Tyler Black in advance of Tuesday's home game against the Tampa Bay Rays, while infielder/outfielder Owen Miller was optioned to Triple-A Nashville.

To make room on the 40-man roster for Black, left-hander Wade Miley (elbow) was moved to the 60-day injured list.

Black, 23, was considered the fourth-best prospect in the Brewers' organization and the No. 42 top prospect in all of baseball, according to MLB.com.

A first-round draft pick (No. 33 overall) in 2021, the left-handed power hitter from Toronto was batting .303 with five home runs and 18 RBIs at Triple-A.

Miller, 27, had just one hit in 12 at-bats over seven games with the Brewers this season.
