In recent years, MLB teams have been using alternate uniforms under the City Connect series. The concept is to have each team’s city heavily incorporated into the uniform. This year, the Brewers are taking part in the City Connect series and their full uniforms were just unveiled.

Here is a full look at the uniforms.

These uniforms will make their on-field debut on Friday, June 24 against the Blue Jays and will continue to be worn throughout the remainder of that weekend. They will continue to be worn on most Friday home games and every community night game throughout the remainder of the season.

Features on the hat

In early May, pictures of a powder blue hat leaked on the internet that many believed were going to be a part of the city connect uniform. It is now confirmed that this hat with the letters M-K-E across the front is indeed a part of the uniform. If you look further, the numbers 4-1-4 are also incorporated into the design.  This is a cool feature that references the Milwaukee area code.

Features on the jersey

Powder blue officially returns as the primary color on these uniforms. Across the front of the jersey are the words “Brew Crew,” which has been a nickname for Brewers teams over several years. Along the sleeves is yellow and white piping that represents a beer’s foam head. Additionally, there is a patch of a grill near the shoulder that pays tribute to the pregame tradition of tailgating.
