The Chicago Cubs played seven games this past week beating the Cleveland Guardians, Oakland A’s, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels, and Texas Rangers. They lost two games against the Chicago White Sox in 8 innings and the Arizona Diamondbacks finishing the week 5-2.

OF – Pete Crow-Armstong

Armstrong played in just one game over the last seven this spring after being optioned to Triple-A Iowa. PCA received 4 at-bats and was hitless in his only game this week. He is slashing .138/.198/.241 with an OPS of .435 in 12 games this spring.

P – Cade Horton

Horton is not pitching for the Cubs in Cactus League play.

OF – Owen Cassie

Owen Cassie played in two games this week going 0-7 with one run scored during those two games. He is slashing .344/.417/.531 with an OPS of .948 this spring. He has also had three doubles, one home run, and seven RBIs this spring in 14 games.

1B – Michael Busch

Busch played in four games this week going two for ten with a triple and a run scored. He is slashing .235/.333/.529 with an OPS of .863 in 13 total games this spring.

OF – Kevin Alcantara

Alcantara did not play in any games this week for the Cubs.

3B – Matt Shaw

Shaw played in two games this week going hitless in seven at-bats with one run scored. He is slashing .200/.275/.457 with an OPS of .732 over 14 games this spring.

2B – James Triantos

Triantos did not play in any games this week for the Cubs.

P – Jordan Wicks

Wicks started one game this week and pitched five innings giving up four hits, three earned runs, one walk, and two strikeouts. Wicks has five appearances, with four starts in the spring, and has thrown 17.1 innings. During his work, he has allowed 16 hits, five earned runs, and walked two, striking out 12, with an ERA of 2.60 and a 1.04 WHIP this spring for the Cubs.

P – Ben Brown
