The Reds built a 4-0 lead on the Dodgers on Friday night before the game was canceled due to rain. 

Nick Martinez got the start for Cincinnati, pitching four innings of scoreless baseball. He didn't give up a hit and finished with six strikeouts. 

Christian Encarnacion-Strand scored the Reds first run on a Stuart Fairchild single. Fairchild also had a RBI triple later in the game. 

Cincinnati build a 4-0 lead on Los Angeles before the game was canceled due to rain. It was a heck of a start by the Reds, even though it ended in the fifth inning.
