One Cincinnati Reds prospect is going under the radar and isn't getting as much attention as he should.

Rece Hinds is a 6-4, 215-pound outfielder/third-base prospect that spent the 2023 season with the Reds Double-A affiliate the Chattanooga Lookouts. Hinds is the No. 12 prospect for the Reds according to prospects1500.com.

The 23-year-old prospect played high school ball at Niceville High School in Niceville, Florida.

During his 2023 campaign, the former second round pick posted a .269 batting average, finishing with 23 home runs and 98 RBI.

The fact that Hinds is the No. 12 prospect in the Reds system is mind-blowing. He could be a true threat for the big league club in the near future.

He's versatile and can play third base or outfield.

Hinds and his power bat could be at Great American Ballpark in the near future. He certainly looks poised to have another productive season.
