Cleveland Guardians prospect Bo Naylor hit his first career home run on Wednesday night and joined some weird and crazy baseball history.

Per Anthony Castrovince of MLB.com:

Bo Jackson (1986), Bo Bichette (2019) and Bo Naylor (2023) all hit their first big league homers in Kauffman Stadium.

Kansas City, Bo.

That is pretty ridiculous! Kansas City is the place to be if you're named "Bo."

At the time of this posting, the Guardians lead the Royals, 14-0, in the seventh inning. Cleveland scored seven runs in the sixth inning after getting four in the third to account for their most lopsided frames. Jose Ramirez has a grand slam for Cleveland in addition to Naylor's shot.

Naylor's homer came in the sixth inning. The rookie catcher is now hitting .222 with the homer and two RBI in limited action. He was a first round pick of the Guardians in 2018.

His brother Josh, who also plays for Cleveland, is hitting .294 this season.

After a slow start to the season, the Guardians have come on strong lately. They are on track to have won seven of their last 10 games and will move to 39-40 on the year when they salt this victory away.

Furthermore, when the win becomes official, they'll pass the Minnesota Twins for first place in the American League Central. They'll be 0.5 games up on the Twins.

Cleveland and the Royals will finish out their series on Thursday afternoon at 2:10 p.m. ET as Shane Bieber pitches against Zack Greinke in a battle of Cy Young winners.
