After being relatively quiet all postseason, Diamondbacks rookie Corbin Carroll is emerging as a game-changer in Game 7 of the NLCS.

In just the first five innings, Carroll has already notched an impressive three hits, two stolen bases, and contributed to two of the Diamondbacks’ three runs.

This performance equals his combined hits from the first six games of the series, where he went 3-23 at the plate.

Of particular note, one of Carroll’s stolen bases registered as the fastest sprint speed witnessed this postseason, according to MLB Pipeline.

Furthermore, Carroll has etched his name in history as the second youngest player in MLB history to record three hits and two stolen bases in a playoff game, as reported by ESPN Stats & Info.

What makes this feat even more remarkable is that he’s the first player ever to accomplish this in a Game 7.

It’s undeniably a historic night for the soon-to-be Rookie of the Year.

The Diamondbacks lead the Phillies 3-2 in the 6th inning.
