Cincinnati Reds manager David Bell will likely be facing some serious discipline from the league for his actions during Tuesday’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Bell had already been ejected in the eighth inning of the game for defending Yasiel Puig following a strike call with the bases loaded. Then when the teams got in a massive bench-clearing fight in the ninth , Bell returned to the field despite his ejection and got involved. He ran onto the field at Great American Ball Park and pushed Pirates manager Clint Hurdle:

Bell was upset for a number of reasons. He seemed to mostly be upset that the two sides were warned after Pirates reliever Keone Kela threw at Derek Dietrich’s head, making it impossible for Cincinnati to retaliate.

Bell also said after the game that he was upset the Pirates “allow, celebrate and condone” their pitchers throwing at opposing players. The two sides also got into a fight in April when Chris Archer threw behind Dietrich.
