Following the acquisition of Paul Sewald , the Diamondbacks are reportedly interested in trading away 33-year-old closer Andrew Chafin.

Teams that may be interested in Chafin include the Cubs, Brewers, and Twins, per Jon Heyman.

Andrew Chafin was originally drafted in the first round of the 2011 draft by the Diamondbacks. He went on to play six and a half seasons in Arizona before moving around the league for a couple of years.

After spending some time with the Cubs, A’s, and Tigers, Chafin came back home and signed with the Diamondbacks in February.

However, this second stint in Arizona has not treated Chafin particularly well. In 43 appearances this year, Chafin has posted an ERA of 4.13, which is on pace to be the second worst in his 10-season career.

If the Diamondbacks were to trade away Andrew Chafin, they have until 6 p.m. EST.
