Ahead of their Tuesday night game, the Arizona Diamondbacks recalled LHP Joe Mantiply amid a handful of roster moves.

Mantiply was last with the Diamondbacks for a couple of weeks in June, this was before he was sent back to Triple-A for the third time. In his most recent stint in the majors, Mantiply struggled heavily as he allowed eight earned runs in eight innings in the span of five different appearances.

Along with bringing back Mantiply, the Diamondbacks designated Cole Sulser for assignment.

Sulser made his first appearance in over two months for Arizona on July 30th. In total this year, Cole has allowed at least one run in four of his five relief appearances.

Lastly, Peter Strzelecki, whom the Diamondbacks just acquired from the Brewers, was optioned to Triple-A.

It is likely that Strzelecki will be pulled up sooner rather than later.

First pitch for the Diamondbacks matchup against the Giants on Tuesday will be at 6:40 PM. Zac Gallen is set to take the mound for Arizona. A win for the D-backs would give them their first official winning streak since July 19th.
