In case you missed it, the Arizona Diamondbacks top prospects defeated the Colorado Rockies top prospects in the debut of the Spring Breakout.

The D-backs struck first with a pair of runs in the top of the 4th. Starting the rally was Jordan Lawlar who doubled after challenging a strike-three call.

Lawlar then scored thanks to a two-run single from A.J. Vukovich.

Starting on the mound for Arizona was Yu-Min Lin, a 20-year-old prospect from Taiwan. Lin tossed two shutout innings.

While the Diamondbacks only picked up one more run on the offensive side of things, ending the night with a mere 5 hits, their bullpen was excellent.

Gino Groover was one of the few bright spots, with a 2-3 afternoon. Groover was selected 48th overall by the Diamondbacks in the 2023 draft.

Another highlight came from Druw Jones. Although the runner was safe, Jones fired a 94 mph missile from center field.
