The Los Angeles Dodgers activated recently re-acquired utilityman Enrique Hernandez in a series of moves Wednesday.

Hernandez, with the Dodgers from 2015-20, rejoined the team in a trade with the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday.

Los Angeles also recalled right-hander Tyson Miller from Oklahoma City, optioned left-hander Justin Bruihl to the Triple-A club and placed outfielder Jonny DeLuca (right hamstring strain) on the 10-day injured list.

Hernandez, 31, started 54 games at shortstop, 14 at second base and 11 in center field this season for Boston. He batted .222 with six homers and 31 RBIs.

In 1,003 career games with the Houston Astros (2014), Miami Marlins (2014), Dodgers and Red Sox, Hernandez is a .238 hitter with 103 homers, 164 doubles, 363 RBIs and 422 runs.

Miller, 27, was acquired from Milwaukee in a July 12 trade. He recorded no decisions and a 5.79 ERA in seven relief appearances for the Brewers this season.

Bruihl, 26, allowed three runs in the ninth in Tuesday's 8-7 win against the Toronto Blue Jays in 10 innings. He is 1-0 with a 4.07 ERA in 20 appearances out of the Los Angeles bullpen this season.

DeLuca, 25, left Tuesday's game in the eighth inning after going 0-for-2. He is hitting .262 with two homers and six RBIs in 24 games this season with the Dodgers.
