The Los Angeles Dodgers routed the Atlanta Braves, 11-2, with five home runs in the game and a dominant pitching performance from Tyler Glasnow.

Max Muncy started the scoring for the Dodgers, hitting a two-run homer in the second inning to give them a 2-0 lead.

In the third, Shohei Ohtani extended their lead with a solo home run. That dinger also allowed him to take sole possession of first place on the all-time Dodgers home run leaderboard among Japanese-born players, passing manager Dave Roberts.

Andy Pages hit his fourth home run of the season in the fourth as he continues to swing a hot bat. The rookie is soon going to require Roberts to pen his name in, rather than using pencil, as it seems he will be around for the long haul.

The Dodgers added three more runs in the fourth inning with consecuitve RBI singles from Ohtani, Freddie Freeman and Will Smith.

In the seventh inning, Max Muncy blasted his second home run of the game, and the Dodgers scored two more runs on an error from Ozzie Albies to extend their lead to 10-2.

Just for good measure in the eighth inning, Muncy slugged his third home run of the game. It was the first time in his career that he’s had a three-homer day, and the 15th time he’s had at least two in the same game.

Tyler Glasnow sharp for Dodgers

Glasnow turned in another dominant start, throwing seven innings while allowing two runs and striking out 10 hitters. The runs allowed came on a single from Austin Riley in the fourth, and an RBI groundout in the seventh from Orlando Arcia.

Glasnow gave up five hits total and walked one, holding the Braves to fewer than one baserunner per inning, on average.
