Another one bites the dust for the Los Angeles Dodgers

L.A.'s stop right-hander and flame-throwing relief pitcher Brusdar Graterol said he would not be available for the Seoul Series against the San Diego Padres next week.

LA Times Dodgers beat writer Jack Harris reported via X.

The 25-year-old has only pitched in one Cactus League game thus far.

Graterol is dealing with shoulder discomfort and hip tightness. He is expected to resume throwing on Tuesday, meaning he won't be ready until a little more than a week away.

Although he won't travel and pitch for the team in their first two games of the season, he hopes to be ready by the team's home opener on March 28th.

The odds aren't in his favor with it being such a tight timeline, but we'll be the last to count out the young flame thrower. Graterol has been fantastic in his Dodger career, recording a 2.69 ERA, 131 strikeouts, 158 ERA+, 3.24 FIP, and a 1.04 WHIP in 171 appearances and 173.2 innings.

His presence will be missed by the Boys in Blue. Let's hope he's ready to go by the time the Dodgers return to the United States.
