Trea Turner is among the current Los Angeles Dodgers free agents and he figures to receive a lucrative long-term contract as one of the top players available.

After New York Yankees free agent Aaron Judge, Carlos Correa and Turner are widely perceived as the best options on the open market. Turner has expressed interest in re-signing with the Dodgers, and it’s believed they share in that sentiment.

While free agents are still within the five-day window of only being able to negotiate with the team they played for this past season, a Turner highlight reel was produced by his agency, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), and narrated by award-winning actor Jon Hamm.

Hamm, who has starred in a recent Progressive Insurance marketing campaign, also is represented by CAA.

Turner’s sizzle reel goes over his various accolades, including having three separate 20-game hitting streaks during the 2022 season, being able to hit for power and being electric on the bases.

After winning the 2021 National League batting title, Turner hit .298/.343/.466 with 39 doubles, four triples, 21 home runs and 100 RBI in his first full season with the Dodgers. The 29-year-old earned a second career All-Star Game selection and finished second in baseball to Freddie Freeman (199) with 194 hits,

Turner’s 194 hits were second only to Freddie Freeman (199) for the MLB lead. Freeman and Turner became the first set of teammates to finish first and second in hits during the same season since Ichiro Suzuki and Brett Boone did so for the 2001 Seattle Mariners.

Freeman and Turner also became the first duo since Babe Ruth and Bob Meusel (1921 New York Yankees) to finish with at least 190 hits, 100 RBI, 35 doubles, 20 home runs, 10 stolen bases and multiple 12-game hitting streaks.

Dodgers free agency: Trea Turner or Aaron Judge?

The Dodgers have been linked to both Judge and Turner in free agency thus far, but may have a preference to address shortstop rather than adding the presumed 2022 American League MVP.

If not retaining Turner, the Dodgers may look to sign Carlos Correa.
