Dodgers' Walker Buehler on injured list with blister on hand

The Los Angeles Dodgers confirmed on Thursday that right-handed pitcher Walker Buehler was added to the injured list retroactive to last Sunday due to a blister on his throwing hand.

Righty Mitch White was recalled to the main roster in Buehler's place.

Buehler, 26, is 1-0 with a 4.32 ERA across five big league starts this summer. He tallied a 14-4 record and was named to his first All-Star squad in 2019.

Buehler last pitched versus the Colorado Rockies on Aug. 21. He struck out 11 batters in six innings of work, and the Dodgers won 5-1.
