Eugenio Suarez bombed two- and three-run home runs and Marco Gonzales beat the Oakland Athletics for the third time this season as the Seattle Mariners opened a three-game road series with a 10-2 rout on Friday.

Suarez, Julio Rodriguez and Mitch Haniger scored twice apiece and Ty France drove in a pair of runs, helping the Mariners extend their winning streak to four games.

Oakland designated hitter Shea Langeliers had a sacrifice fly in his home debut, helping the A's take a 2-1 lead in the first inning.

But thanks largely to Suarez, the Mariners dominated from there, running their record against Oakland to 8-3 this season.

Suarez's first homer followed a Haniger single in the fourth and gave Seattle the lead for good.

Two innings later, he broke open a close game with his three-run shot, which followed a walk and an Oakland error.

The five RBIs were a season high for Suarez, while the two-homer explosion was his second of the year, matching his feat against the Tampa Bay Rays on May 6. He now has 22 homers.

Both of Suarez's long balls came off A's starter Cole Irvin (6-11), who was charged with six runs (five earned) on six hits in six innings. He walked two and struck out two.

The Mariners tacked on two in the seventh on a France sacrifice fly and a Winker RBI single, then two more in the eighth on an RBI single by Jake Lamb and a run-scoring single by France.

Gonzales (8-12) survived the two-run first to go 5 1/3 innings, allowing just the two runs (one earned) and six hits. He walked two and struck out one. He had pitched 7-6 and 8-2 wins over the A's earlier this season.

Chad Pinder had two hits for Oakland, which was opening a 10-game homestand. The A's lost for the 11th time in 13 games.

Langeliers, the headliner of a package received from the Atlanta Braves when the A's shipped off Matt Olson in March, finished 0-for-3 with an RBI and a strikeout.
