The Boston Red Sox have alumni all over the globe, and can now add one of the most prominent baseball countries to the list.

The southpaw who is reportedly heading abroad started his career with the Red Sox, spending the first six seasons of his seven-season career in Boston's organization.

"Left-hander Kyle Hart signs with the NC Dinos in Korea," the New York Post's Jon Heyman reported Monday night. "Hart, who pitched briefly for the Red Sox, gets $900,000. He is represented by Nello Gamberdino."

Hart was 42-47 with a 3.72 ERA, 618-to-259 strikeout-to-walk ratio, .248 batting average against in 143 games (124 with Red Sox) during his minor-league career.

The 27-year-old had a cup of coffee with the Red Sox during a very unforgettable time -- the 2020 shortened season.

The southpaw allowed 21 runs (19 earned) with a 13-to-10 strikeout-to-walk ratio and .429 batting average against in 11 innings across four appearances, three of which were starts.

One year removed from Boston -- after stints with the Philadelphia Phillies and Seattle Mariners Triple-A affiliates -- Hart will try his hand at international baseball, in an attempt to jumpstart his career.

Erick Fedde spent last season in Korea after struggling stateside and just landed a two-year, $15 million deal with the Chicago White Sox after posting a 2.00 ERA in the KBO. Hart will aim to follow in his footsteps.
