Fans congregating near Dodger Stadium to shame Astros for cheating scandal

The Houston Astros are in Los Angeles to take on the Dodgers for the first time since their 2017 sign-stealing scandal was revealed. While fans aren't allowed in the stadium to heckle the Astros due to the coronavirus pandemic, they're certainly letting their feelings be known in other ways.

Dodgers fans are congregating near the stadium to boo the Astros on their way into the complex, and they've got all the signs to make Houston feel shame.

That's not all fans have done to shame the Astros, though. Two Dodgers fans started a GoFundMe to raise money to secure a giant banner, a plane and a pilot to fly over the stadium during the game. The banner reads: "Hey Astr*s, try stealing this sign!"

The fundraising goal of $1,725 was met and surpassed with a total of $1,870 raised. The banner will be flown over Dodger Stadium on Sunday as the Astros take batting practice.

The Astros were found guilty of sign-stealing en route to a World Series title in 2017. They've paid the price in more ways than one, though, as multiple members of the organization were fired and draft picks taken.
