The Los Angeles Dodgers are closing in on the end of their Cactus League schedule as they prepare to depart for South Korea ahead of playing exhibition games and the Seoul Series next week.

They’ve largely gotten through their Spring Training schedule without much issue, though Brusdar Graterol and Emmet Sheehan encountered some minor injuries that are affecting their availability for Opening Day.

Meanwhile, Max Muncy avoided trouble despite being hit by a pitch on three separate occasions.

However, Muncy, Gavin Lux and Dodgers assistant pitching coach Connor McGuiness were not in camp on Tuesday due to being under the weather, according to Bill Plunkett of the Southern California News Group:

Lux was in the Dodgers lineup on Sunday and Monday, which made him unlikely to play against the San Francisco Giants anyhow.

Muncy has not played since Saturday against the Texas Rangers.

Of greater concern for the Dodgers is not only getting both Lux and Muncy back to health, but keeping the rest of their roster from falling under the weather is imperative and could prove challenging. The Dodgers are on the verge of embarking on a long flight that could lend to other players getting sick.

It’s currently unclear if Lux and Muncy will start in the Dodgers’ final Cactus League game on Wednesday. Both players are projected to be in the Opening Day lineup on March 20.

Dodgers details for Seoul Series trip

The Dodgers’ chartered flight to South Korea departs Thursday morning and lands in Seoul on March 15. The team is scheduled to have a workout that evening and one on Saturday as well.

Exhibition games are scheduled March 17 and 18 before an off day heading into the Seoul Series.
