Wilmer Flores hit a pinch-hit go-ahead single with two outs in the seventh inning as the visiting San Francisco Giants rallied past the Miami Marlins 4-3 on Monday night.

Camilo Doval recorded four outs for his second save after he led the National League last year with 39 saves.

Jorge Soler, in his first game at Miami since leaving the Marlins for the Giants as a free agent, went 1-for-3 and struck out twice. He slugged 36 homers for Miami last year.

In his season debut Marlins right-hander Edward Cabrera had 10 strikeouts over six innings and left with the lead before settling for a no-decision.

Cabrera, who started the season dealing with a shoulder injury, allowed five hits, one hit and one run in six innings.

The Marlins got a solo homer from Avisail Garcia, while Otto Lopez went 1-for-4 with a run scored in his Marlins debut, while playing his first MLB game since 2022.

Giants starter Kyle Harrison also had a no-decision, giving up three runs on eight hits over six innings with one walk and two strikeouts.

Miami opened the scoring in the second inning with Garcia's 400-foot homer to left-center on the first pitch.

After singles by Lopez and Luis Arraez, both runners scored on Bryan De La Cruz's liner that became a two-run double when left fielder Michael Conforto came up empty while sliding to make the catch.

The Giants got on the board in the fourth as Jung Hoo Lee walked, went to third on Soler's single and scored on Conforto's hit.

The Giants took a 4-3 lead in the seventh off relievers George Soriano and Andrew Nardi.

Thairo Estrada's one-out double started the rally. Estrada advanced on a wild pitch and scored on Patrick Bailey's sacrifice fly.

After Nardi entered the game, he allowed two-out RBI singles to Lee and Flores.

San Francisco's bullpen did the rest as three relievers - Tyler Rogers, Ryan Walker and Doval - kept Miami off the scoreboard.
