The Baltimore Orioles lost again on Sunday afternoon, falling 11-8 to the Texas Rangers at Camden Yards.

With the loss, the Orioles are now down 2-0 in the best-of-five American League Division Series and are one loss away from elimination.

That would be a very disappointing outcome for an O's team that captivated baseball fans all summer and won an American-League best 101 games.

Despite the disappointment of the weekend, there were some silver linings for the O's, including the play of Gunnar Henderson.

The rookie, who is likely to win American League Rookie of the Year, went 2-for-4 with three runs scored, a homer and an RBI on Sunday.

His home run put him on a very small list in team history.

Per ESPN Stats & Info:

Gunnar Henderson is the 2nd-youngest player in Orioles history to hit a postseason HR. The only player younger was Manny Machado in 2012, who was 20 years old.

The 22-year-old made the Orioles out of spring training and has become one of their most irreplaceable players. Now hitting in the middle of the order, he's 3-for-8 in the postseason.

In the regular season, he hit .255 with 28 homers, 82 RBI and added 10 stolen bases. He pairs with Adley Rutschman to make one of the best young duos in the entire sport.

Regardless of what happens with the Orioles in this particular series, it's been a successful season for the franchise and the future is only going to be brighter because of players like Henderson.
