SURPRISE, Ariz. — The gold rush is on.

The Texas Rangers' gold-trimmed jerseys and caps will be available for purchase at 9 a.m. Thursday at the club's Grand Slam Team Store at Globe Life Field in Arlington and online at rangers.com.

The team will wear special white home jerseys and blue caps trimmed in gold for the season-opening series against the Chicago Cubs March 28-31 in honor of the franchise's first World Series championship. The jerseys include a World Series championship patch on the right sleeve.

Items available for purchase include:

  • White jerseys: men’s, women’s and youth sizes
  • Blue Caps: adult fitted, adjustable, and snap cap
  • T-Shirts: men’s, women’s and youth sizes
  • Novelties: lapel pins, magnets, decals, pennants, pint and shot glasses, tumblers, koozies, fan chains, and stance socks

The Grand Slam Team Store at Globe Life Field will be the exclusive non-online retail location for purchasing Rangers Gold Collection merchandise until Opening Day.

The Grand Slam Team Store is located off the North Plaza of Globe Life Field.

The store will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10-6 p.m. daily on non-game days. Parking is available in Lot B off Randol Mill Road.

The Rangers are scheduled to wear their gold-trimmed jerseys and caps for these home games: 

March 28-31 vs. Chicago Cubs
April 10 vs. Oakland (World Series Replica Trophy Giveaway presented by T-Mobile)
May 14 vs. Cleveland (Corey Seager Replica World Series Ring Giveaway presented by Coca-Cola)
June 4 vs. Detroit (Marcus Semien Replica World Series Ring Giveaway presented by Globe Life)

The first 15,000 fans entering Globe Life Field will receive a giveaway.
