Hunter Renfroe... he has been having himself quite the hot start to his 2023 campaign and Angels fans have been ecstatic every time he steps up to the plate. This is a season where so much is riding on team success and consistency and Renfroe has been doing everything in his power to ensure that they make the postseason.

In the first 26 games of the season, Renfroe has slashed .281/.352/.573 and he is currently leading the entire roster in home runs with seven. This type of slugging power has helped the Halos tremendously and a lot can be attributed to his recent offseason where he dedicated a lot to time to getting his strength up.

Anybody that is on a team with two of the best hitters in the MLB in Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout and can still garner more runs is definitely going above and beyond. Renfroe has stepped up in some of the closest games thus far and been able to rake each time.

The 31-year-old outfielder spoke to Bally Sports West about the recent stretch he's been on and assured he's just doing whatever he can to help the team.

"I've started off har, I've started off good," said Renfroe. "I've never had this good of a first month in my career. I think that plants to all of my offseason work. Obviously going to Spring Training and working on all the right stuff and stying with my approach and staying healthy."

Renfroe is barely in his first season with the Angels and already making headlines and a huge impact. We cannot wait to see what else he accomplishes this year.
