Joey Votto meets young Reds fan who cried after his ejection

While Joey Votto continues to make a wrong impression on Major League Baseball officials, he maintains his good reputation with the fans.

After being ejected from Saturday's game against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park, the Cincinnati Reds first baseman sent a young, upset fan a signed baseball to cheer her up. It was her first MLB game, and Votto is her favorite player.

Reds general manager Nick Krall and clubhouse manager Rick Stowe then provided the young fan and her family with tickets to Sunday's Reds-Padres game so she could watch Votto play the entire contest. She even got to meet him before the game began.
