By some magical twist of fate from the baseball headline writing gods, Kansas City Royals second baseman Chris Getz reached first base on an error in the third inning of his team’s 5-2 loss to the Chicago White Sox Wednesday. The amazing blessing resulted in the greatest photo of all time. For one beautiful moment, Getz, White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko, and Royals first base coach Rusty Kuntz, were lined up in perfect order to spell out “Konerko Getz Kuntz.” Take it in, folks, because like a lunar eclipse, a miracle such as this one will not align again for many more years.
