Apart from him, the team has also traded away right reliever Yency Almonte . In exchange, they have acquired Jackson Ferris and Zyhir Hope .

LA Dodgers remain the busiest team during offseason as they trade away Michael Busch

The MLB offseason in Winter is one of the busiest periods in baseball. This period allows teams to bring in new players, get their tactics ready, and prepare for the upcoming season. This year the Los Angeles Dodgers have been the busiest team in this break as seen with the trade away of Michael Busch.

The chances of making it into the roster seemed slime for him. This along with their aim to try and make a spot for others on their rosters, saw the team trade Busch away to the Cubs.

Despite winning the division once again last season the Dodgers suffered another early exit from the postseason. To avoid that they have started to strengthen their team.

The team started off by landing the biggest name in baseball globally currently in Shohei Ohtani. His $700 million contract is the largest among the top four sporting leagues across the USA.

The team would later acquire top pitcher Tyler Glasnow and took social media by storm by acquiring Japanese sensation Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Recently they also picked up Teoscar Hernandez from free agency, once again leaving the fans stunned.

All these signings have surely made them one of the favorites for the World Series. The Todd Boehly-led franchise has definitely won the offseason. The American owner would now be hoping these signings take his team to the promised land in 2024.
