Wednesday afternoon, the San Francisco Giants completed a five-game road trip in style, picking up two of three games from the defending World Series champions, the Houston Astros.

Opening Day starting pitcher Logan Webb tossed a two-run gem in the Giants' 4-2 victory Wednesday afternoon. Webb allowed just five hits and two walks over 7.2 innings pitched, striking out five and picking up his second win of the season. After Wednesday's game, Webb explained that it had been a bit of a difficult road trip, but not for a reason any fan or reporter could have predicted.

Webb told the media Wednesday that 75% of the Giants team currently has diarrhea.

"The whole trip was very grindy, I guess," Webb said. "It's been a mental grind. It's been a physical grind. I think three quarters of our clubhouse has the (expletive), so like it's been a mental and physical grind so it'll be good to get back home for sure. Hopefully the [expletive] go away. It'll be better in a couple days. Happy we were able to come out of this with the last two wins."

Prior to playing a three-game stand in Houston, the Giants faced off against the San Diego Padres for two games in Mexico City. Webb did not reveal what caused the Giants' illness.

Perhaps the Giants had some bad tacos? Bad TexMex? We may never know. But the Giants' win Wednesday improved their record to 13-17 on the season, now 4.5 games back of the Los Angeles Dodgers for first place in the National League West.

The Giants will have Thursday off, before opening a six-game homestand at Oracle Park Friday night, when the Milwaukee Brewers come to town. After that, they will play host to the Washington Nationals Monday through next Wednesday.
