Look: Phillies' Bryson Stott uses incredible pencil bat for Little League Classic

The Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Nationals faced off in the 2023 Little League Classic in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on Sunday night and Philadelphia's Bryson Stott really got into the spirit of the thing.

Instead of using his normal bat, Stott went to the plate using a custom that looked exactly like a No. 2 pencil. Maybe he thought he had a giant standardized test to take during the game?

Incredibly creative.

With the theme of the game being Little League baseball, and with back to school season just starting, it is the absolute perfect choice for a custom bat for this game. Players will sometimes use different colored bats for different causes, especially on Mother's Day (pink bats for breast cancer awareness) and Father's Day (prostate cancer awareness) but this was definitely a unique look and unlike anything we have ever seen in a big league game.

The detail on it was also incredible, from the eraser to the pencil point down by the handle.

This is the sixth Little League Classic since the 2017 season. It has become an annual game played in Williamsport during the Little League World Series, giving all of the kids participating an opportunity to see a big league baseball game up close.

It also gives the big leaguers an opportunity to watch and cheer on the stars of tomorrow as several Phillies players did on Sunday, including Bryce Harper.

Stott ended up going 1-for-4 in the game for the Phillies.
