In a little more than a month the Philadelphia Phillies will report to Spring Training in Clearwater, Fla.

At that point, family vacations will be a thing of the past — or at least something for the next offseason. So, if you’re a Phillie and you want to unplug before things get serious, now is the time.

Given how tight the Phillies are these days, it makes sense that at least three of their stars vacationed together over the holiday.

Recently, first baseman Bryce Harper, shortstop Trea Turner and outfielder Nick Castellanos hit the trail, so to speak, with a vacation out west, including Jackson Hole, Wyo. This being the era of social media, the trio, along with their wives, posted plenty of pictures.

Harper’s wife, Kay, posted a carousel of shots of the entire group to Instagram on Saturday, indicating in a caption that the trip happened just after the new year.

Included in the carousel is a shot of what appears to be an office desk, a horse, Bryce Harper on a snowmobile and a group shot before a dinner.

Kristen Turner, the wife of Trea Turner, posted a carousel of photos that included the two of them posing in front of the mountains.

Harper is set to be the everyday first baseman after he spent the second half of 2023 at the position as he continued his recovery from Tommy John surgery. Harper still posted a season that earned him a Silver Slugger award.

Turner emerged from a slow start with a quality offensive season in his first year in Philadelphia, while Castellanos provided the Phillies pop at the plate while playing in the outfield.

All three will be back in 2024 as the Phillies try to get back to the World Series after missing out last season after losing to the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2023 NLCS.
