The highly awaited MLB Spring Breakout will shed light on some young and talented Miami Marlins prospects. Their lineup will be highlighted by adding their top prospect, Noble Meyer , who is ready to make waves on the field. They will face off against the St. Louis Cardinals on March 15. These games will last from March 14-17, with each team having a roster made up of their top 30 prospects.

Despite being ranked one of the worst farm systems, the Marlins have an amazing player in right-hander Noble Meyers. He is MLB Pipeline’s No.57 overall prospect. He is the only Marlins prospect to make this list. The 19-year-old has already made a mark in the game. He made his professional debut and won a Single-A championship. Meyer mostly uses his fastball, breaking ball, and changeup. He is projected to be a top-of-the-rotation starter.

“It’s been everything and more,” Meyer said of his pro career. “I’ve loved every second of it. [I] wouldn’t trade it for the world, and to be here with like-minded people who just want to keep getting better, there really isn’t anything better in the world.”

Meyer will face off against the Cardinal’s top prospect Masyn Winn. The Cardinals called up Winn last season, and he played a few games with them but did not see the success he saw in the minors. With the Triple-A Memphis, he hit .288 with 18 HR and 66 RBI. It should be a thrilling matchup between the two prospects.

Other Notable Prospects

Joining Meyer is another talented Marlins prospect, Thomas White. He is the Marlins No. 2 prospect. He has a fastball between 92-95 miles per hour and can showcase a high spin curveball of about 80 miles per hour.

These two pitchers will also be accompanied by notable hitters such as OF Victor Mesa Jr. and SS Jacob Amaya. Mesa Jr. is an aggressive hitter with a high baseball IQ. Last year, in the minors, he posted a .720 OPS with 76 RBI and 18 HR. Berry is a switch hitter with a quality swing but struggled last year in the minors. He is still projected to be a great player. So far, in four games of spring training, Berry has gone 2-for-5 with one strikeout and one walk. In the fourth game against the New York Mets, Berry had his first multi-hit game of the spring. He was the only Marlin with a multi-hit game that day.
