Mets' Jacob deGrom scratched vs. Cardinals due to side tightness

Things are quickly going from bad to worse for the New York Mets

Michael Avallone of MiLB.com was the first to report that Mets ace Jacob deGrom has been scratched from Tuesday's start versus the St. Louis Cardinals. MLB insider Jon Heyman tweeted deGrom is dealing with side tightness, while SNY's Steve Gelbs explained Miguel Castro will start in place of the two-time National League Cy Young Award winner.
